Basketball Game Preview: St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers vs. Mendon Hornets

St. Philip Catholic Central is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since December 28, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 63-20 loss at the hands of Climax-Scotts. The game marked the Fighting Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mendon came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 36-26 victory over the Eagles.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Philip Catholic Central and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Mendon, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.
