Softball Recap: Vanlue Comes Up Short

Vanlue lost against Calvert on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Vanlue came up short against Calvert, falling 15-1.

Vanlue saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Brooks, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Vanlue's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Calvert, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vanlue will head out to challenge Ridgemont at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calvert, they will venture away from home to square off against Gibsonburg at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Calvert is facing Gibsonburg at the right time seeing as Gibsonburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
