Vero Beach had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Centennial Eagles 3-0 on Tuesday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-20.

Ella Gravlee paced Vero Beach's offense, picking up 14 kills. Gravlee got some help from Lindsay Bieber and her 32 assists. Grace Lee controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Vero Beach wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Heritage on the 21st. As for Centennial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Port St. Lucie on the 22nd.
