Baseball Recap: Fort Collins Takes a Loss

Fort Collins lost against Fossil Ridge last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Fort Collins lost 16-6 to Fossil Ridge. The Lambkins just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Griffin Campain was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That hit was his first of the season.

Fort Collins' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Fossil Ridge, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Fort Collins will challenge Windsor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fossil Ridge, they will head out to challenge Regis Jesuit at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
