Football Recap: Miami Comes Up Short

Miami fell victim to South Dade and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Buccaneers and fell 45-0. The Stingarees just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Miami's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Dade, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Miami will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Palmetto at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. The Stingarees will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. As for South Dade, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 25-22 victory against North Miami Beach on the 17th.
