Baseball Recap: Lone Pine Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Lone Pine and Lindsay squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lone Pine had to settle for second. They lost 12-1 to the Cardinals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Golden Eagles have suffered since April 15th.

Lone Pine's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Lindsay, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-11-1.

Lone Pine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lindsay, they will square off against Mendota at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aztecs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
