Softball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Marshall's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Yellville-Summit Panthers on Tuesday. The loss leaves the Bobcats still looking for their first win of the season.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Yellville-Summit, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall will host Tuckerman at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups. As for Yellville-Summit, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Melbourne at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bearkatz have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
