Basketball Recap: Marlington Takes a Loss

Marlington and Warrensville Heights squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Marlington had to settle for second. They took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warrensville Heights Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Dukes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while the Tigers are ranked 25th).

Marlington's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Warrensville Heights, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

As of now, neither Marlington nor Warrensville Heights have any future games scheduled.
