Basketball Game Preview: Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels vs. North Linn Lynx

The Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels will square off against the North Linn Lynx at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Gladbrook-Reinbeck comes in on five and North Linn on 15.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Wednesday. They snuck past Lynnville-Sully with a 43-39 victory.

Meanwhile, North Linn didn't have too much trouble with Marquette last Wednesday as they won 58-44. Given the Lynx's advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Defenders are ranked 138th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Linn's win bumped their record up to 22-1. As for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, their victory bumped their record up to 20-3.
