Softball Recap: Seton Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Seton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They walked away with a 14-11 victory over the Taylor Yellowjackets. Considering the Saints' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win snapped Seton's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-10 record. As for Taylor, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Seton will challenge Lakota East at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taylor, they will host Mount Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Taylor's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mount Notre Dame has averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
