It was fun while it lasted, but St. Paul Central's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Saturday. They lost to the Burnsville Blaze at home by a 79-63 margin. The matchup marked the Minutemen's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Paul Central fell to 4-1. As for Burnsville, their victory ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

St. Paul Central will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Byron at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Byron knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully St. Paul Central likes a good challenge. Burnsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
