Volleyball Recap: Herrin Comes Up Short

Herrin lost against Nashville back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Shaniya Johnson paced Herrin's offense, picking up five kills. Johnson got some help from Aryanna Randall and her six assists.

Herrin's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Nashville, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Herrin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Riverview Gardens on the 18th. As for Nashville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Waterloo on the 18th.
