Softball Recap: Clarenceville Trojans vs. Lutheran Northwest Crusaders

Clarenceville had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 5-15 to make it eight. They lost 17-0 to the Lutheran Northwest Crusaders. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Crusaders from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

As for Lutheran Northwest, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Considering they have won nine contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Coming up, Clarenceville will take on Southfield Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lutheran Northwest, they will square off against Clintondale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
