With a playoff win on the line, West rose to the challenge on Thursday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 70-22 victory over the Taylorsville Warriors. The Panthers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

West's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kylee Falatea led the charge by putting up 20 points along with eight steals and seven assists. Falatea is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 41 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Fina Tuha, who went 6-for-9 en route to 15 points in addition to eight steals and five assists.

West smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

West pushed their record up to 22-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Taylorsville, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-11.

Coming up, West will challenge Brighton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 22 contests -- so hopefully Brighton likes a good challenge. Taylorsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
