Volleyball Recap: Ella Norris and Taylor Warrick Secure Win for Linton-Stockton

Linton-Stockton won the last time they faced Vincennes Lincoln and things went their way on Monday too. The Miners came out on top against the Alices by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Miners.

Linton-Stockton was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-10, 22-25, 25-21.

Leading Linton-Stockton to victory were Taylor Warrick and Ella Norris. Warrick had 23 digs and three aces, while Norris had nine digs and three aces. Those 23 digs gave Warrick a new career-high.

Linton-Stockton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linton-Stockton will host White River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Miners' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Vincennes Lincoln, they will be playing at home against Pike Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
