Basketball Game Preview: Jac-Cen-Del Eagles vs. Lawrenceburg Tigers

Jac-Cen-Del and Lawrenceburg are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Jac-Cen-Del Eagles will welcome the Lawrenceburg Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jac-Cen-Del is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Jac-Cen-Del saw some tournament action last Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 54-14 loss at the hands of Batesville. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lawrenceburg was able to grind out a solid win over Oldenburg Academy on Tuesday, taking the game 53-46.

Lawrenceburg's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7. As for Jac-Cen-Del, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Everything went Jac-Cen-Del's way against Lawrenceburg when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Jac-Cen-Del made off with a 71-48 win. Does Jac-Cen-Del have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lawrenceburg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
