The home team had won the previous two meetings between Summerville and West Ashley, and Summerville kept the tradition alive. The Green Wave won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Green Wave: when they faced off against the Wildcats on Wednesday, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.
