The Del Sol Dragons will square off against the Western Warriors at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Del Sol is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.4 runs per game this season.

Del Sol saw some tournament action on Monday. Everything went their way against Liberty Baptist Academy as Del Sol made off with a 19-7 win. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by ten runs or more this season.

Issac Vollink was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Bryan Sanchez, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3.

Vollink wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Del Sol kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. Del Sol is a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Western came up short against Liberty Baptist Academy on Monday and fell 6-2.

Western has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. The victory got Del Sol back to even at 4-4.

Del Sol couldn't quite get it done against Western in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 as they fell 4-0. Can Del Sol avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
