Baseball Recap: Carl Hayden Community Drops Highest Score of Season Against Sierra Linda

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carl Hayden Community). They put the hurt on the Sierra Linda Bulldogs with a sharp 18-5 victory on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their one-run performance the game before.

Rigo Mendez was a standout: he scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Eric Mendez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
