Harford Tech has gone 8-2 against Edgewood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Harford Tech will challenge Edgewood at 3:30 p.m. Harford Tech will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Harford Tech is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Aberdeen 20-1 on Tuesday. Considering the Cobras have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Alexandria Kurth made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Harford Tech got a massive performance out of Lyric Strong, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 5-for-5. The dominant performance also gave Strong a new career-high in triples (two). Evelyn Colby was another key player, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Harford Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .514. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .364 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Edgewood was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against Bel Air, falling 8-1. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Edgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Harford Tech, their record is now 4-1.

Everything went Harford Tech's way against Edgewood in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Harford Tech made off with a 9-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harford Tech since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
