Soccer Recap: Middletown Christian Starts off Right with Win over Reading

Middletown Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They beat the Reading Blue Devils by a goal, winning 3-2. Landon Bates had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Middletown Christian got from the refs.

Middletown Christian hit Reading with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kadiel Santana, Gavin Gross, and Caleb Skaggs.

Coming up, Middletown Christian will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Hamilton at 5:30 p.m. As for Reading, they will challenge Lockland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
