            Flag Football Preview: Upland Highlanders/Scots vs. Western Christian Fighting Lancers        
        
		
        
        
            The Upland Highlanders/Scots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Western Christian Fighting Lancers  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Upland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 26.5  points per game  this season.
Last Tuesday, Upland was just a  hair shy of victory  and fell  19-18 to Etiwanda.
Meanwhile, Western Christian waltzed into their matchup  on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within six  points of losing the streak, but they secured  a   13-7 W against the Knights. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Fighting Lancers' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Knights are ranked 532nd).
 Western Christian's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Siena Norheim,  Bailey Osborne,  and  Sofia Prentice, who each picked up one  interception apiece.
 Upland's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Western Christian, their record now sits at 18-8.
 Upland came up short against Western Christian in their previous meeting  back in September, falling  25-20. Can the Highlanders/Scots avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
