Baseball Game Preview: Beaver Beavers vs. Enterprise Wolves

For the second straight game, Beaver will face off against Enterprise. The Beavers will venture away from home to take on the Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Beaver 3.6, Enterprise 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Beaver will head out to face Enterprise after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. The Beavers took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Beavers couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Enterprise's part, Parker Staheli spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up six Ks. Staheli has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jackson Hiatt was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Clayton Bowler, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Enterprise has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Beaver, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-3.
