Basketball Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 54-45 to the McKinney Boyd Broncos. The Blue Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

When it comes to explaining why Rock Hill lost, don't look at Dextan Hutchinson. Despite the final result, he posted 21 points along with five assists and three steals. Those 21 points gave Hutchinson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Keshawn Myles, who put up eight points in addition to five boards and four blocks.

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for McKinney Boyd, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Rock Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-58 loss against Plano East on the 13th. As for McKinney Boyd, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-44 defeat against Plano on the 13th.
