Basketball Game Preview: Eunice Cardinals vs. Texico Wolverines

Eunice is 0-10 against Texico since February of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Cardinals will square off against the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Eunice comes in on four and Texico on nine.

It was a proper cat-fight when Eunice challenged Hagerman on Tuesday. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 43-19 win.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Texico against Loving on Tuesday as the squad secured a 94-19 victory. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Eunice's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Texico, their victory bumped their record up to 20-2.

Eunice was dealt a bruising 63-27 loss at the hands of Texico in their previous matchup two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Wolverines' Bennett Wahlen, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.
