Baseball Recap: Ringgold Comes Up Short

Ringgold managed to slip by Belle Vernon the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 8-1 to the Leopards on Tuesday.

Ringgold saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Angotti, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Paul Dzyak also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Belle Vernon, their record now sits at 5-2.

Coming up, Ringgold will square off against Yough at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Belle Vernon, they will host California at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
