Basketball Recap: Norwalk Drops Season-High Score on Waite

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norwalk). They claimed a resounding 75-12 victory over the Waite Indians. Given the Truckers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Indians are ranked 803rd), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Norwalk has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season. As for Waite, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Norwalk will square off against Sandusky at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Sandusky's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups. Waite does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
