Basketball Recap: West Rutland Skates Past Twinfield with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Rutland had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed past the Twinfield Trojans to the tune of 66-24. The Golden Horde have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for West Rutland, bringing their record for this year to 19-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30 points. As for Twinfield, they dropped their record down to 11-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, West Rutland will face off against Arlington Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Arlington Memorial's defense has only allowed 26.4 points per game this season, so West Rutland's offense will have their work cut out for them. Twinfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
