Soccer Game Preview: Clear Lake vs. Friendswood

Clear Lake is 0-8-2 against Friendswood since March of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Clear Lake Falcons will be taking part in a tournament against the Friendswood Mustangs at 8:00 a.m.

Clear Lake's tournament run continued when they took on Nacogdoches on Friday. Clear Lake fell just short of Nacogdoches by a score of 2-1. The loss was the Falcons' first of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Asher Gaworecki, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Friendswood kept a clean sheet against Galena Park on Saturday. They rang in the new year with a 2-0 win over the Yellowjackets.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clear Lake fell to 3-1-1. As for Friendswood, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
