Volleyball Recap: Aurora Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Aurora Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Hinkley Thunder. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-27, 25-21, 25-15.

Kiyanah Shuler paced Aurora Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Shuler got some help from Andena Torres and her 11 assists. Shuler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Jeralyn Navarro, who had 14 digs.

Aurora Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Hinkley, their record is now 11-2.

Aurora Central has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Gateway on the 23rd. As for Hinkley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Denver North on the 22nd.
