Football Game Preview: Childress Bobcats vs. Littlefield Wildcats + How To Watch

The Childress Bobcats will challenge the Littlefield Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Childress is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Canadian just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 49-27 to the Wildcats. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Littlefield, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in October. They blew past Roosevelt 49-28 two weeks ago. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Littlefield's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.2 points over those games. As for Childress, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.

Childress strolled past Littlefield in their previous matchup back in October of 2015 by a score of 42-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
