Softball Recap: Cy-Fair Wins Going Away Against Cypress Falls

Cy-Fair barely beat Cypress Falls the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Cy-Fair put the hurt on Cypress Falls with a sharp 11-2 victory on Friday. Considering the Bobcats have won six games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cy-Fair has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. Cypress Falls is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cy-Fair is set to square off against their familiar foe Northbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cypress Falls will take on rival Cypress Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
