Softball Recap: Carrizo Springs Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Carrizo Springs's offense. They came up short against the Devine Warhorses on Friday, falling 19-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Warhorses recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Carrizo Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Devine, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Carrizo Springs will be playing at home against Somerset at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carrizo Springs has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Devine, they will head out on the road to square off against Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
