Chippewa Falls waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Clayton Bears by a score of 2-0. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Lauren Shepherd paced Chippewa Falls' offense, picking up eight kills. Shepherd got some help from Barrett Boisvert and her 14 assists. Boisvert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Chippewa Falls' victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Chippewa Falls has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against St. Croix Falls on the 29th. Clayton has also already played their next game (against Ellsworth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
