Basketball Recap: Union City Comes Up Short

If Union City was feeling good fresh off their 65-33 takedown of Paden last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Union City Tigers lost 68-42 to the Dewar Dragons on Saturday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Union City's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Dewar, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union City will face off against Oklahoma Bible at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dewar has already played their next match (against Stuart), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
