Basketball Recap: Disney II Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Disney II Titans came up short against the Uplift Titans and fell 64-56. While losing is never fun, Disney II can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 700th, while Uplift is ranked 333rd).

Disney II's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-5. As for Uplift, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Disney II will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chicago Sullivan at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Uplift also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against Alcott at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
