Volleyball Recap: Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers vs. Brown County Hornets
Greenfield/Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brown County Hornets. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
While Greenfield/Northwestern was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-23.
Greenfield/Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Brown County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-14.
Greenfield/Northwestern will welcome Triopia/Virginia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brown County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Rushville-Industry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
