Basketball Recap: Bensalem Victorious

Bensalem hasn't had much luck on the road recently (they'd lost three straight) but thanks in part to Trevor Morris that streak is no more. The Bensalem Fighting Owls blew past the Harry S. Truman Tigers 55-35 on Tuesday thanks in part to Morris, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. Those 15 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Mayfield, who posted eight points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Bensalem's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Harry S. Truman, they dropped their record down to 7-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bensalem will host Council Rock South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harry S. Truman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Neshaminy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neshaminy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.3 points per game this season.
