Basketball Game Preview: Estelline/Hendricks vs. Great Plains Lutheran Panthers

Estelline/Hendricks will challenge the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Estelline/Hendricks is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Mary just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 65-52 to the Cardinals. The matchup marked Estelline/Hendricks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Great Plains Lutheran suffered their biggest defeat since January 11, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 58-36 to Watertown. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Estelline/Hendricks will need focus on slowing down Austin Rubendall, one of several Great Plains Lutheran players who made an impact when they last played. He posted nine points and six rebounds. Brody Scharlemann was another key player, putting up ten points.

Great Plains Lutheran now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Estelline/Hendricks, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

Estelline/Hendricks won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, slipping by Great Plains Lutheran 49-48.
