Rialto's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the San Gorgonio Spartans 3-2. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 15-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Rylee Estrada spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Rialto's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Milenni Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Rialto's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for San Gorgonio, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-8-1.

Looking ahead, Rialto will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Arroyo Valley at 3:45 p.m. As for San Gorgonio, they will host Colton at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups.
