League recap: Franklin County scores huge upset over Jefferson County

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Jefferson County, who took down 85th ranked Jefferson County, 16-0.

Hazlehurst extended the longest winning streak in 3A Region 7 this week by beating Crystal Springs, 53-44. This was the team's 11th consecutive win.

Thanks to the talents of Kenneth Coleman and Demetrius Cain Hazlehurst has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Coleman leads the league in passing with 1446 yards, while Cain has rushed for 840 yards this season. Wilkinson County's Allenzae Staggers leads the league in receiving yards with 654 on 41 catches.

The Wildcats took down Prentiss 41-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
