After a string of three wins, Harlingen's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2021.

Harlingen now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
