Bradley-Bourbonnais is a perfect 4-0 against Morris since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Boilermakers will square off against Morris at 11:00 a.m. Bradley-Bourbonnais is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Bradley-Bourbonnais took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Illiana Christian. The victory continues a trend for the Boilermakers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Avery Moutrey, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Morris never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on Princeton with a sharp 7-0 victory. Morris might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Tessa Shannon, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Halie Olson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Morris hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' record now sits at 9-3. As for Morris, their record is now 13-2.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Bradley-Bourbonnais has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Morris struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Bradley-Bourbonnais was able to grind out a solid win over Morris when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 7-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Boilermakers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
