Seymour won the last time they faced Bedford North Lawrence and things went their way on Friday too. The Owls came out on top against the Stars by a score of 5-2.

Brady Harpe made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run.

In other batting news, Mack Longmeier was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Seymour hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive matches.

Seymour's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Bedford North Lawrence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-6.
