Volleyball Recap: Greater Atlanta Christian Takes a Loss

Greater Atlanta Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the North Forsyth Raiders. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17.

North Forsyth found their leader in freshman Lyla Jane Craft, who had ten digs. Kaitlyn Mattox also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Greater Atlanta Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Forsyth, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Greater Atlanta Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Grayson on the 21st. As for North Forsyth, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Seckinger on the 21st.
