There's no place like home for Meade County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Hancock County Hornets on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Meade County's got stronger as the match went on, holding Hancock County to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

Leading Meade County to victory were Zoey Gonzales and Makayla Pike. Gonzales had eight digs and four aces, while Pike had seven digs. That's the most digs Pike has posted over her last nine matches.

They weren't the only good server: Meade County was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

As for Hancock County, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Tell City on the 22nd.
