Baseball Recap: Haskell Comes Up Short

Haskell lost against Albany back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Haskell Indians came up short against the Albany Lions, falling 22-4. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Haskell's loss dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Albany, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haskell will venture away from home to square off against Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed ten runs per game on average), something Haskell will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Albany, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Albany Lions challenge Anson Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
