Desert Christian Academy's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Westin Abarrate, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another was Andrew Hesser, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, California Military Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Hamilton, falling 26-7. That's two games in a row now that the Rough Riders have lost by exactly 19 runs.

The victory got Desert Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for California Military Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Desert Christian Academy's way against California Military Institute in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Desert Christian Academy made off with a 15-2 win.
