Basketball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science Has No Trouble Against Dock Mennonite

The third road game was the charm for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, as they earned their first away win of the season. They enjoyed a cozy 51-35 victory over the Dock Mennonite Pioneers on Thursday.

Fareed Brown had another great game (as he tends to do), going 7-for-11 en route to 17 points and seven assists. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 47.5% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Billy Henighan, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Dock Mennonite, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science has already played their next matchup, a 61-53 victory against Abington Friends on the 13th. Dock Mennonite will take on MAST Community Charter in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
