Francis W. Parker falls despite strong effort from Connor Elligan

The Francis W. Parker Colonels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their ninth straight loss. They fell 61-54 to North Lawndale.

Despite the loss, Francis W. Parker still got an impressive performance from Connor Elligan, who scored 22 points along with two steals and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Elligan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Johnson, who scored 12 points along with four steals.

Francis W. Parker's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for North Lawndale, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Francis W. Parker will take on Lake Forest Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lake Forest Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for North Lawndale, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Carver at 5:00 p.m. Carver has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 345 points over their last five matchups.
